Helen Rose Reavis Tilley

Mrs. Helen Rose Reavis Tilley, 64, of 727 Pleasant Avenue, passed away Friday, August 20, 2010, at her residence. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Monday, August 23, 2010, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Ralph Robinette will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9:00 pm Sunday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times, the family will be at the residence. Mrs. Tilley was born February 25, 1946 in Henderson, NC. She was the daughter of the late Frank Reavis and Martha Ball Reavis. She retired from Kmart after 40 years. She was a member of House of Prayer Freewill Baptist Church. Mrs. Tilley is survived by her husband, George Tilley; three daughters, Sandye Gurley of Kannapolis, Teresa Henry and husband, Mike, of Landis and Angela Shelton of Kannapolis; three grandchildren, Nathaniel Shelton, Hannah Shelton and Cody Henry.
