Henry Jimmy Foster

Mr. Henry Jimmy Foster, 71, of 511 Bostian Avenue, Kannapolis, died Saturday, December 29, 2007, at his home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, December 31, 2007, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Tim Jernigan will officiate. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens in Charlotte. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times, they will be at the home. Born March 9, 1936 in Munford, Alabama, Mr. Foster was the son of the late Albert Walter Foster and Mary Frances Bannister Foster. He retired as a security guard with Barton Security. He was a member of Franklin Heights Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Martha Ada Ball Foster; son, Ricky Foster of Munford, AL; two step-sons, Leon Ball of Kannapolis and Mitchell Ball of Madison, VA; three step-daughters, Rita, Glenda and Sandra, all of Munford, AL; a sister, Mary Ethel Powell of California; two brothers, Bob Foster and Walter Foster, both of Munford, AL; and two grandchildren.
