Howard Lee Sims

Mr. Howard Lee Sims, 52, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2016.

A memorial service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Saturday at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor William Jones will officiate.

Friends and family will gather to share their remembrances of Howard from 2 to 3 pm Saturday at Lady's Funeral Home prior to the service.

Mr. Sims was born January 31, 1964 in Newark, NJ. He was a son of the late Willie Sims and Ethel Lee Caldwell Gallman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Wardell Sims, Willie Fred Sims.

Mr. Sims is survived by five children, Antonio Smith of Kannapolis, Benita Smith of Salisbury, Shannon Smith of Salisbury, Latoyia Smith of Kannapolis and Anthony Smith of Kannapolis, a brother, Roy Gallman of Kannapolis, three sisters, Betty Ann Sims, Ebbie Mae Mobley and Sweetee Gallman, eight grandchildren, a close friend Jerry “NASCAR” Kiles and many more family and friends.
