Howard Vance Wyrick

Mr. Howard Vance Wyrick, 87, of Kannapolis passed away Friday, December 16, 2011, at his son and daughter-in-law�s residence. A funeral service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Tuesday, December 20, 2011, at Lady's Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:45 pm at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times, the family will be at the home on Angela Lane. Mr. Wyrick was born May 5, 1924 in Kannapolis. He was a son of Lenwood V. Wyrick and Florence Allen Wyrick. He ran a very successful real estate agency and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served in World War II. He was also a member of Elwood Lane Free Will Baptist Church for over 20 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Douglas Wyrick; sister, Adele Rasnake; and sister-in-law, Helen Wyrick. Mr. Wyrick is survived by son, Bradford Wyrick and wife Sheila Arnette Wyrick of Kannapolis; brother, Hoyt Wyrick of Kannapolis; sister, Grace Hamilton of Rockingham; grandchildren Bradford Wyrick and wife Crystal, Angela Rene Wyrick, and Christina Cavonis; and great-grandchildren Adasyn Wyrick, Shelby Wyrick, Hannah Wyrick, Christopher Deese, and Erin Deese.
