Hullet Parham

Mr. Hullet Jewrel "Butch" Parham, 61, of 7348 Beaver Road, Kannapolis, died Friday, April 7, 2006, at his home. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, April 9, 2006, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Mick Hinson will officiate. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Concord. Members of the Millbridge Go-cart Racers will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the residence. Born September 3, 1944, in Brunswick, Georgia, he was the son of Jasper Parham and Ruth Hill Parham. He was a mechanic with Goodyear in Salisbury and was active in go-cart racing at the Millbridge Speedway. He was preceded in death by a brother, Walter Lee Parham, Sr. Survivors include two sons, Alvin Parham of Kannapolis and David Parham and wife Juanita of Mooresville; parents, Jasper Parham and Ruth Hill Parham of the home; wife, Shelia Lambert Parham of Mooresville; two brothers, Donald Parham and wife Frances of China Grove and Lee Parham and wife Julie of Kannapolis; two sisters, Jackie Steele of Kannapolis and Wanda Wamboldt and husband Bob of Kernersville; and several nieces and nephews.
