Inez Hailey

Mrs. Inez Willis Hailey, 86, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2014, at Transitional Health Services.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday, November 8, 2014, at Lady’s Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Tom Robinson will officiate. Interment will be at 3:00 pm Saturday at Norman’s Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Lawndale.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 11:45 am Saturday prior to the service at Lady’s Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hailey was born on August 11, 1928 in Cleveland County. She was a daughter of the late Ed Willis and Maybelle Costner Willis.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Cleveland Hailey; sister, Jewell Willis; and two brothers, Hugh and Franklin Willis.

Mrs. Hailey is survived by her sister, Jeanette Willis of Belmont; brother, Charles Willis and wife, Linda of Shelby; and two sister-in-laws, Pauline Willis of Lawndale and Joanne Pressley of Kannapolis.
