Ione Kathleen Reich

Mrs. Ione Kathleen "Kathy" Hoke Harris Reich, 76, of Kannapolis passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2012, at Tucker Hospice House.

A funeral service is scheduled for 7:00 pm Friday, December 28, 2012, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Barbara Watkins and Rev. Wade Easom will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 6:45 pm Friday, prior to the service.

Mrs. Reich was born on August 17, 1936 in Sherrills Ford. She was a daughter of the late Harland Hoke and Mary Lindler Hoke. She was the retiree office manager for Victorious Health Services in Concord and was a member of Kannapolis Church of God.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Alvin Hoke and a sister, Eudene Yost.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Harris Waldroup and husband Michael of Kannapolis; a brother, Clarence Hoke of Lexington; a sister-in- law, Gwen Hoke of Kannapolis; three grandchildren, Jane Johnson and husband Jason, April Burks and husband Duane, and Katie Waldroup; and five great grandchildren.
