Ira Andrew Marlow

Ira Andrew Marlow, 31, of 870 Greenfield Road, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday, March 5, 2010, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Joel Ervin and Rev. Roger Bostic will officiate. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in China Grove. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 pm Friday at Lady's Funeral Home. Ira was born March 8, 1978 in Rowan County. He was the son of Danny Ray Marlow and Phyllis Jenkins Marlow. He was a commercial truck driver. Ira is survived by his mother, Phyllis Jenkins Marlow of China Grove; father, Danny Ray Marlow of Virginia; grandfather, Glenn Jenkins of China Grove; grandmother, Barbara Marlow of China Grove; his 3 dogs, Spike (his favorite), Shelly and Fizzie.
