Ira Jean Retterer

Mrs. Ira Jean Scandreth Retterer, 78, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2016, at Carolinas Healthcare System - NorthEast in Concord.

A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 pm Saturday, March 19, 2016, at Roberta Baptist Church. Rev. Steve Pennington and Rev. Chris Baker will officiate.

Mrs. Retterer was born March 2, 1938. She was the daughter of the late Edward E. Scandreth and Cora Little Scandreth. She worked as a residential advisor.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Retterer.

Mrs. Retterer is survived by two daughters, Mitzi Carlson and husband Ernie of Harrisburg, and Tammy Turner and husband Scott of Charlotte; son, Daniel Lindenmuth and wife Sherrie of Indian Trail; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and her special fur baby, Toby.
