Irene Clare Johnson

Mrs. Irene Clare Tierson Johnson, 67, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at Carolinas Healthcare Systems-NorthEast.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, June 13, 2015, at the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ in Mooresville. Rev. Daniel Ramsey will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9:00 pm Wednesday, June 11, 2015, at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mrs. Johnson was born on September 15, 1947 in Trenton, NJ. She was a daughter of the late Clarence Tierson and Irene Quinn Tierson. She was a machine operator for a textile company.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husand, Horace L. Johnson; son, Horace Johnson, Jr; and brother, Frank Tierson.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her daughter, Terry Lynn Johnson; two sons, Dan Patrick Duffy and Brendan Duffy; stepdaughter, Janice Johnson Ramsey; and eleven grandchildren.
