Iris Martin Overcash
July 8, 1934 — May 12, 2017
Ms. Wilma “Iris” Martin Overcash, 82, passed away Friday, May 12, 2017, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday, May 19, 2017, at Landis Baptist Church. Rev. Richie Honeycutt will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 1:15 to 1:45 pm Friday at Landis Baptist Church.
Ms. Overcash was born July 8, 1934 in Rowan County. She was a daughter of the late William Alonzo Martin and Dora Thelma Bourne Martin. She was a member of Landis Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Shirley Hyde.
Ms. Overcash is survived by sister, Dorothy Cress of China Grove.
Memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
