Jacqueline Davis Potts

Mrs. Jacqueline Davis Potts, 67, of 5305 Woodside Street, Kannapolis, NC, died Thursday, February 27, 2003, at NorthEast Medical Center after several days of serious illness. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:30 PM Sunday, March 2, 2003, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. William H. Coughlin will officiate. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3:30 PM Sunday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times, the family will be at her home on Woodside Street in Kannapolis. Mrs. Potts was born March 10, 1935 in Kannapolis, NC. She was a daughter of the late William Davis and Sadie Freeman Davis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Reid Potts, in July 1999. Mrs. Potts is survived by two daughters, Janet Potts and Teresa Tucker, both of Kannapolis; son, Douglas Potts and his wife, Gwen, of Kannapolis; sister, Linda Treece of Concord; brother, Donald Davis of Kannapolis; mother-in-law, Myrtle Potts of Concord; three grandchildren, Travis Potts Tucker, Amanda Potts Tucker, Douglas Aaron Potts; one great grandchild, Raven Tucker Caldwell.
