James Luther Coggins

Mr. James Luther Coggins, 69, of 1410 East 1st Street, Kannapolis, died Friday, November 1, 2002. A private memorial service for the immediate family has been planned. Born June 7, 1933, in Cabarrus County, he was a son of the late Roscoe R. Coggins and the late Alma Freeze Coggins. Mr. Coggins retired after 30 years of service from the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System. He was a veteran of the US Army. Survivors include a daughter, Ann Coggins Suddreth of Charlotte; two sons, Paul Coggins of Concord and Benjamin Coggins of Lexington; one sister, Shirley Coggins Yates of Kannapolis; and six grandchildren, Luther, Brooke, Carly, Katie, Ashley and Daniel.
