James Kermitt Elliott

James Kermitt Elliott, 70, a resident of Five Oaks Manor and formerly of Westover Avenue in Kannapolis, died Sunday, June 18, 2006, at the nursing center. A graveside service with interment to follow will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, 2006, at Carolina Memorial Park. The Rev. Chris Hawks will officiate. The body will lie in state at Lady's Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. Born February 5, 1936, in Graham County, he was the son of the late Wayne Elliott and Nettie George Elliott. He retired several years ago from Cannon Mills. Survivors are special friends, Barbara Williamson and Robert "Bob" Goodwin.
