James Alfred Hodge

Mr. James Alfred Hodge, 74, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at CHS-NorthEast in Concord.

A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday, February 16, 2018, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Dale Cline will officiate. Interment with military honors will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.

The family will receive friends from 12 to 1:45 pm Friday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mr. Hodge was born December 22, 1943 in Cabarrus County. He was a son of the late William Hodge and Louise Butler Hodge. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and later retired from the former Hoechst Celanese plant in Salisbury. He was a member of St. Enoch Lutheran Church in Enochville.

Mr. Hodge is survived by his wife, Linda Hodge; son, Michael Paul Hodge and wife Sandy of Kannapolis; step-son, Alvin Carl Parham of Charlotte; brother, William Franklin Hodge of Kannapolis; and two grandchildren, Caitlin Hodge and Grayson Huffstetler.
