James Walker Jackson

Mr. James “Sonny” Walter Jackson, 65, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2014, at Carolinas Specialty Hospital in Charlotte.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, October 30, 2014, at Carolina Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the gravesite after the service.
Mr. Jackson was born on May 15, 1949 in Cabarrus County. He was a son of the late Walter Jackson and Maggie Lee Gainey Jackson.
Mr. Jackson is survived by two sons, Mark Jackson of Charlotte and James Jackson and wife Angie, of Kannapolis; daughter, Melissa Williams and husband Wes of Gastonia; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
