James Lynn Myers

Mr. James Lynn Myers, 56, of 603 Locust Street, died Tuesday, October 6, 2009, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord. A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 14, 2009, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Annie Brown and Rev. Mike Newsome will officiate. Entombment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 pm Wednesday at Lady's Funeral Home. Mr. Myers was born May 17, 1953 in High Point. He was a son of the late James Arthur Myers and Blanche Juanona Williams Myers. He had worked for Hickory Furniture Company and later worked for Diamond Cab Company, now T.J.'s Taxi, in Kannapolis. Mr. Myers is survived by two daughters, Melissa Myers and Susan Jacquez, both of Rockwell; son, Josh Witman of Salisbury; sister, Sherry Miller of Kannapolis; two brothers, Billy Myers of Kannapolis and Kevin Myers of South Carolina; seven grandchildren, Yolanda, Tony, Marty, Rebecca, Dwayne, Aiden and Ashley; and one great granddaughter, Madison.
