James Charles Parrish
February 18, 1939 — October 24, 2022
Mr. James Charles Parrish, 83, passed away Monday, October 24, 2022, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.
A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 pm Friday, October 28, 2022, at The Brook Church. Alan Williams will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 to 12:45 pm Friday at The Brook Church.
Mr. Parrish was born February 18, 1939 in Guilford County. He was a son of the late Spencer Welton Parrish and Pearl Juanita Parrish.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Tina Knight.
Mr. Parrish is survived by his wife, Genevieve Story Parrish; two daughters, Wanda Parrish and Lori Bass, both of Woodleaf; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
