James Scott Shaver

Mr. James "Scott" Shaver, 42, went to be with the Lord Friday, October 26, 2012.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, October 28, 2012, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jeff Upright will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3:00 pm, Sunday, prior to the service at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mr. Shaver was born on February 3, 1970 in Concord. He was the son of James T. Shaver and Janice Brigman Shaver Liles and step-father Arthur C. Liles, Jr. of China Grove. He worked as a carpenter in home construction. Scott enjoyed reading and studying his Bible to share with others.

In addition to his parents and step-father, he is survived by his brother, David Glenn Shaver of Rockwell; step-brother, Travis Shaver of Concord; and a special nephew, Aaron Lee Shaver.
