James Timothy Hildreth

July 3, 1949 — August 5, 2020

Mr. James Timothy "Tim" Hildreth, 71, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, August 5, 2020.

A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Saturday, August 8, 2020, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Randall Ritchie will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.

The family will receive friends from 12 to 1:45 pm Saturday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mr. Hildreth was born July 3, 1949 in Concord. He was the son of Orabelle Mitchell Hildreth and the late James Floyd Hildreth. Tim was a computer operator for over 20 years at Phillip Morris. He loved his family and loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved spending time at his barn, swinging in his swing, and going to Cracker Barrel and eating breakfast with the guys he used to work with at Phillip Morris. He was very loved and he surely will be missed by all.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Tony Hildreth.

Mr. Hildreth is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Phyllis Addison Hildreth; four daughters, Sherlene Young and husband De'Wayne, Sherry Adcock and husband Curtis, Lisa Campbell and Kim Morgan and husband Dwaine; seven grandchildren, Drew, Teaya, Kaley, Lauren, Kelsey, Keirsten and Kenley; and eight great-grandchildren, Dalton, Lawson, Daxton, Waylon, Etta, Everlee, Layla and Iris.
