James Treadway

James "Jaymie" Matthew Treadway, 10, of 165 Ivory Lane, China Grove, died Friday, October 25, 2002, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, October 28, 2002, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Jesse Overcash, Sr. will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Lady's Funeral Home. Born May 31, 1992, in Salisbury, he was a son of James Ervin Treadway and Julia Ann Allman Treadway. Jaymie was a fifth grade student at Landis Elementary School. Survivors include his parents, James Ervin Treadway and Julia Ann Allman Treadway; one sister, Teresa Reyes of Cleveland; six brothers, Jason Treadway of Kannapolis, Marty Adams, Brandon Martin, Justin Treadway, Anthony Treadway and Andrew Treadway, all of the home; and a paternal grandmother, Selma Carpenter of Rockingham.
