Jane Ward

Mrs. Jane Moore Ward, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, May 11, 2014 at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 pm Thursday, May 15, 2014, at Lady’s Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 5:00 pm prior to the service at Lady’s Funeral Home.

Mrs. Ward was a daughter of the late John Ellis Moore (November 22, 1971) and Helen Virginia Stirewalt Moore (May 17, 2007). She was a 1959 graduate of A.L. Brown High School. Mrs. Ward was employed in the medical field for over thirty years. She was a former member of Calvary Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed by her family and all whose life she has touched.

Mrs. Ward is survived by her husband, William B. Ward; sister, Nancy M. Williams of Landis; three daughters, Kim Dawson and husband Scott of Kannapolis, Pam Mesimer of Landis and Jennifer Mesimer of Charlotte; five granddaughters, Kristin, Jordan, Wesleigh, McKenna and Danielle Mesimer; and her beloved dog, “Sugarbaby”.
