Janet Carol Litaker Campbell

Mrs. Janet Carol Campbell, 72, passed away Friday, March 20, 2026, at her home in Kannapolis.

A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 pm Friday, March 27, 2026, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Tim Newton and Rev. Rick Wilson will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 12:45 pm Friday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mrs. Campbell was born October 9, 1953 in Salina, KS. She was a daughter of the late Harry Litaker and Carol Cooke Litaker. She was a member of Christian Fellowship Church. She was a graduate of Northwest Cabarrus High School, class of 1971. She retired from Pillowtex, where she worked for a number of years as a timekeeper. After retirement, she worked part time at Ross clothing store.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Claude Campbell and daughter, Christy Lee Campbell.

Mrs. Campbell is survived by her daughter, Ann Stegall and husband Roger of Concord; two sisters, Julie of Shelby and Katie of Kannapolis; brother, David Litaker; two grandchildren, Aaron Stegall and Jarred Stegall; a number of adopted children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews and her faithful canine companion Nugget.
