Janet Kay Voyles

Mrs. Janet Kay Adcock Voyles, 67, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2016, at her residence.

A funeral service is scheduled for 4:00 pm Sunday, November 6, 2016, at First Wesleyan Church. Rev. Scott Wheeler will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 3:45 pm Sunday at First Wesleyan Church prior to the service.

Mrs. Voyles was born November 4, 1948 in Cabarrus County, NC. She was a daughter of Owen and Gertrude Adcock. She retired from Richard Petty Motorsports as an accountant and was a member of First Wesleyan Church.

Mrs. Voyles was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years Thomas Lee Voyles.

Mrs. Voyles, in addition to her parents, is survived by two daughters, Stephanie Rowland and husband Ricky of Gold Hill and Tonya Voyles and fiancé Anthony Goodyear of Kannapolis; sister, Brenda Hatley and husband Douglas of Concord; four grandchildren, Morgan Newton and husband William, Monica Kincaid and fiancé Justin Griffin, Dalton Rowland and Peyton Rowland; and three great grandchildren, William Alexander Newton, IV, Abigail Rae Newton and Walker Abraham Newton.
