Janice Ann Starnes Dixon

Mrs. Janice Ann Starnes Dixon, 45, of 8070 Highway 52, Rockwell, died Thursday, October 4, 2007, at Rowan Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. A memorial service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday, October 7, 2007, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Jeff Upright will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:30 to 3:45 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. At other times, they will be at the home of her sister, Belinda Dunlap, 511 Coach Street, Kannapolis. Born January 24, 1962 in Cabarrus County, she was the daughter of the late Andy Taft Starnes and Carrie May Hartsell Starnes. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Robert Dennis Dixon; daughter, Candy Marie Dixon of Rockwell; son, Brian Eugene Dixon of Rockwell; sister, Belinda Dunlap of Kannapolis; two brothers, Baxter Junior Starnes of Concord and Johnny Starnes of Kannapolis; two grandchildren; and 20 nieces and nephews.
