Janie Mae Steele Stancil

Mrs. Janie Mae Steele Stancil, 95, a precious mother and friend, passed away Friday, January 1, 2021, at Big Elm Nursing Center in Kannapolis.
A graveside service is scheduled for 12:00 pm Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at Carolina Memorial Park. Rev. Tommy Wensil will officiate.
Mrs. Stancil was born August 18, 1925 in Cleveland, NC. She was a daughter of the late David Vance Steele and Lena Mae Cox Steele. Janie enjoyed her career as a hairdresser and loved to cook and also shopping.
She was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Stancil.
Mrs. Stancil is survived by a daughter Brenda Stancil and a special friend, Pat Black.
