Jean Lindsay Funderburk

Jean Carol Lindsay Funderburk, 74, of Pittsdown Road, Columbia, SC, and formerly of Kannapolis, died Thursday, March 11, 2010, at Ascension Hospice in Irmo, SC. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 14 at St. John's United Church of Christ in Kannapolis. The Rev. Nancy E. Allison will officiate. Interment to follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Lady's Funeral Home. Born September 24, 1935 in Mooresville, NC, Mrs. Funderburk was the daughter of the late Cleatus Malone "Pete" Lindsay and Margaret Blackwelder Lindsay. She was a homemaker and a registered nurse. She is survived by her husband, William Franklin Funderburk; three daughters, Tammie Edenfield, Donna F. Collins and Jennifer Owens; one son, Eugene L. Funderburk; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
