Mrs. Jennie Catherine Furr King 94, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at Five Oaks Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Concord.

A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 am Saturday, October 31, 2026, at Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Dr. R.J. "Beaver" Hammonds will officiate.

Jennie was born April 30, 1932 in Mecklenburg County. She was the daughter of the late Samuel Monroe Furr and Mary Catherine Knox Furr. She was a homemaker

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie William King.

Jennie is survived by three sons, Samuel F.King (Terri) of Kannapolis and Robert King, both of Kannapolis and Charlie King (Sherry) of Harrisonburg, VA; daughter, Susan Price (Bobby) of China Grove; seven grandchildren, Sam King, Jr., MacKenzie Goode, Ashleigh Cullnan, Garrett King, Chase King, Candice McClendon, Wendy Price; and nine great grandchildren.
