Jennifer Marie Allen

Mrs. Jennifer Marie Allen, 32, of Rockwell passed away Friday, August 31, 2012.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, September 6, 2012 at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Brookhill Memorial Gardens in Rockwell.

The family will receive friends from 11 to 12:45 pm, Thursday, prior to the service at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mrs. Allen was born on July 15, 1980 in Cabarrus County. She was the daughter of Shelia Upright West and step-father, Robert Lee "Cowboy" West of Rockwell and the late Jimmy Richard Allen. Mrs. Allen was a dietary technician at Liberty Commons Nursing Center in Salisbury and was formerly employed by Troutman's Bar-B-Que in Concord. She was a very caring person and enjoyed life to the fullest.

Mrs. Allen is survived by her husband, David Wayne Mize; children, Cortney Nicole Archer, David Wayne Mize, II and Tori Michelle Mize, all of Rockwell; brother, Jimmy Richard Allen, II of Albemarle; grandmother, Abbie Upright of Rockwell; step-sisters, Tiffany West, Jessica West and Heather West all of Rockwell; mother-in-law, Jane Trexler of Gold Hill and numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial donations may be made to Lady's Funeral Home, 268 N. Cannon Blvd, Kannapolis, NC 28083 to assist the family with funeral expenses.
