Jerry Jackson Mullis

Mr. Jerry Jackson Mullis, 79, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.

A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Laurie Knoespel and Rev. Greg Gordon will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 1:45 pm Wednesday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mr. Mullis was born April 8, 1942 in Cabarrus County. He was a son of the late James Aubrey Mullis and Evelyn Connell Mullis. He graduated from Winecoff High School Class of 1960 and was a member of Jackson Park United Methodist Church. He retired from Pillowtex Plant One #6 Weave Room. Jerry enjoyed dove hunting with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Judy Warwick.

Mr. Mullis is survived by his wife, Beverly Sloop Mullis; two step-sons, Michael Hill and wife Cristi of Kannapolis and David Hill and wife Lisa of Carthage; two sisters, Myra Mullis of Charlotte and Elizabeth Fianchino and husband Randy of Denver, NC; three brothers, Bruce Mullis and wife Debbie of Concord, Darrell Mullis of Colorado and Carroll Max Mullis and wife Dottie of Concord; and several nieces and nephews.
