Jerry Junior Stanley

Mr. Jerry Junior Stanley, 69, of N. Enochville Avenue, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, December 29, 2011, at his residence. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 4, 2012, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. John Mark Beam will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Enoch Lutheran Cemetery in Enochville. The family will receive friends from 12 to 1:45 pm Wednesday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times, the family will be at the home of his son on North Enochville Ave. Mr. Stanley, a loving husband, father, and grandfather, was born February 18, 1942 in Wilkes County, NC. He was the son of Lillie Bowlin Stanley and the late Carl Wilson Stanley. He had worked for Cannon Mills, Enochville School, and UNC Charlotte where he was a groundskeeper. Mr. Stanley was also a member of St. Enoch Lutheran Church. In addition to his father, Mr. Stanley was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Stanley and his step-father, J.T. Call. In addition to his mother, Mr. Stanley is survived by his wife of 46 years, Patricia Horne Stanley; son, Eric Stanley and wife Tara of Mooresville, NC; sister, Judy Head and husband J.R. of N. Wilkesboro, NC; and granddaughter, Katelyn Stanley of Mooresville, NC.
