Jerry Lee Tucker

Mr. Jerry Lee Tucker, 49, of 807 Alma Avenue, Kannapolis, died Monday, February 9, 2004, at NorthEast Medical Center after a number of years of declining health. Funeral services are scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 12, 2004, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Billy Clayton will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the residence on Alma Avenue. Mr. Tucker was born July 5, 1954 in Rowan County. He was a son of Mary Basinger Tucker of Kannapolis and the late Jason Clinton Tucker. Mr. Tucker, in addition to his father, is preceded in death by his son, Rex Allen Tucker. Mr. Tucker, in addition to his mother, is survived by his daughter, Wendy Burris of Kannapolis; two brothers, Rex and Carl Tucker, both of Salisbury; sister, Virginia Plummer of Kannapolis; two grandchildren, Jacob and Joseph Clontz; and two step-children.
