Jessie Anne Midnight Landis

Mrs. Jessie Anne Midnight Landis, 63, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2017, at her residence.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7:00 pm Saturday, July 8, 2017, at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mrs. Landis was born September 6, 1953 in Brainerd, MN. She was the daughter of the late William George Midnight and Frances A. Swift Midnight. She retired from Concord Police Department as a records clerk.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, James Walter Landis, Sr.

Mrs. Landis is survived by two sons, James Walter Landis, Jr. and wife Kate of Concord and Joseph Landis and husband Brent Schweitzer of Greensboro; three grandchildren, Matthew, Anora and Ivy; and three sisters, Mikki Buchanan and husband Buck of Wesley Chapel, FL, Betsy Henkel & Bunny Shank of New Cumberland, PA.
