Jimmy Wayne Dalton

Mr. Jimmy Wayne Dalton, 72, of 902 Oakshade Avenue, died Sunday, April 18, 2010, at Bob & Carolyn Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis. A memorial service is scheduled for 7:00 pm Friday, April 23, 2010, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Dalton was born February 3, 1938 in Jefferson, GA. He was a son of the late Oscar Carl Dalton and Lottie Key Dalton. He retired from JBR Credit Car Company where he worked for 22 years as a mechanic. Jimmy was an avid fisherman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Vada Craig. Mr. Dalton is survived by his wife, Janet Dalton; daughter, Wendy Dalton of the home; grandson, Landon; brother, Bobby H. Dalton of Kennesaw, GA; two sisters, Betty Gulley of Eatonton, GA and Rena Sealey of Locust Grove, GA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Lady's Funeral Home & Crematory, 268 N. Cannon Blvd., Kannapolis, NC 28083 to help with funeral expenses.
