Jimmy Harwood Davis

Mr. Jimmy Harwood Davis, 70, passed away Monday, June 20, 2022, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Sunday, July 10, 2022, at the City of Kannapolis Laureate Center, 401 Laureate Way, Kannapolis, NC 28081.

Social Hour and Visiting with Family will begin from 2:00 pm.

Mr. Davis was born November 13, 1951 in Albemarle. He was a son of the late Sherman Jennings Davis and Mildred Marie Harwood. Mr. Davis loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. Jimmy was a regular at Webb Road Flea Market. He enjoyed both welding and woodworking in his shop. Jimmy was also an avid fisherman. He retired as a heavy equipment operator at Edwards Wood Products and also worked part time at Centerview Hardware.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Debra Davis; and brother, Jerry Davis.

Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Debra Jolene "Jodi" Davis; two sons, Brandon Stirewalt and girlfriend Sarah Randolph of Charlotte and Justin Davis of Virginia Beach, VA; sister, Joy Davis of Portsmouth, VA; brother, Jennings "Jinks" Davis of Hedgesville, WV; and cousin, Mandy Paul of Mt. Pleasant.
