Jimmy Caldwell Honeycutt

Mr. Jimmy Caldwell Honeycutt, 69, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.

A memorial service is scheduled for 12:00 pm Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Candice Carter will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:45 am Saturday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Jimmy was born September 4, 1956 in Rowan County. He was a son of the late Earl Caldwell Honeycutt and Ruby Berry Honeycutt. He worked for Freightliner as an assembly line constructor. He was a graduate of South Rowan High School. He enjoyed spending time on his boat, fishing on the lake, spending time with his friends and his best friend Bella.

He was preceded in death by his father, Earl C. Honeycutt and mother, Ruby Honeycutt.

Jimmy is survived by two daughters, Lea Powers and husband Josh and Brooke Honeycutt, both of Salisbury; five grandchildren, Zachary Powers and wife Emma, Alycia Powers, Kaleb Cheek, Braylen Cheek and Hayden Cheek; one great granddaughter, Isla Powers and sister, Linda Reavis and husband Michael of Kannapolis.

The family would like to send a big thank you to Dr. Gavini at the Levine Cancer Institute of Concord and the doctors and nurses of the Atrium Health Concord ICU floor for their love and support during this time.
