Joan Marie Hilburn

Ms. Joan Marie Hilburn, 65, passed away Monday, June 27, 2022, at Atrium Health's Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7:00 pm Thursday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Ms. Hilburn was born November 14, 1956 in Clinton, TN. She was a daughter of the late Preston Eugene Hilburn and Annie Florence Raby Hilburn. She loved animals and flower gardening.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Margaret Hagler.

Ms. Hilburn is survived by daughter, Christina Flowers Sechler and husband Tim of Kannapolis; son, Aaron Severt and wife Erin of Concord; five sisters, Mary Brandon and husband Kenny of Concord, Ann Honeycutt of Kannapolis, Brenda Bowser of Concord, Martha Hendricks and husband Steve of Concord and Joyce Belk and husband John of Kannapolis; brother, Steven Hilburn and wife Tammy of Kannapolis; three grandchildren, Lillyann Severt, Brittany Howard and Nathaniel Howard; and three great grandchildren.
