Mrs. Joan Whitner VanDusen, 58, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2014, at Glenn Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, January 11, 2014, at Center Grove Lutheran Church in Kannapolis. Rev. Loyd Ginn will officiate.
The family will receive friends at the church.
Mrs. VanDusen was born March 3, 1955 in Jacksonville. She was a daughter of Henry and Kay Whitner. She was a Pediatric Registered Nurse specializing in handicapped children.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Michael VanDusen; and sister, Lee O'Malley and husband John of Charlotte.
