Joann Wilson Douglas

Mrs. Joann Wilson Douglas, 63, of 427 Gay Street, Kannapolis, died Monday, January 26, 2004, at NorthEast Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 29, 2004, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Tony Biles will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. At other times they will be at the home of a son, James Douglas, Jr., 809 Beechwood Street, Kannapolis. Born February 19, 1940, in Rowan County, she was a daughter of the late Robert Wilson and Helen Wilson Winburn. Mrs. Douglas was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, James H. Douglas; a daughter, Teresa Ann Hooper of Kannapolis; three sons, James H. Douglas, Jr. and Randy Hardman, both of Kannapolis and Shane Douglas of China Grove; and five grandchildren, Zachary Douglas, Jacob Douglas, Amanda Miller, Harley Douglas and James Jackson.
