Joanne Madeline Veillette

Joanne M. Veillette, 55, of Brantley Road, Kannapolis, died Thursday, January 1, 2009 at CMC-NorthEast. Private services for Mrs. Veillette will be conducted at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Leon Hawks will officiate. Joanne was born in Grimsby, Ontario Canada on August 9, 1953. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Alfred Harding and Marion Emma Greentree Harding. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Kelly Lee; and a stepdaughter, Tammy Snider. Survivors include her husband, Bruce Veillette of the home; one son, Sgt. Kevin Veillette and wife Crystal of Ft. Campbell, KY; two stepchildren, Cindy Perry and husband Scott of Goose Creek, SC and Shane Veillette of St. Catharines, Ontario Canada; three sisters, Bonnie Castrucci, Pat Harding and Sheila Bourton, all of St. Catharines, Ontario Canada; seven grandchildren, Skylor, Melissa, Justin, Brent, Aaron, Eric and Taylor; and two great-grandchildren, Chance and Riley. Her husband will remember her as a woman of little need, but a wife, mother, sister, and Nana with unlimited love!
