Joe Daniel Bowlin

Joe Daniel Bowlin 57, of 245 Pethel Road, China Grove, died Thursday September 7, 2006 at NorthEast Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am Saturday, September 9, 2006, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Richard Rhoades will officiate. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Lady's Funeral Home from 7 until 9 pm Friday. At other times they will be at the residence. Born in Cabarrus County August 20, 1948, he was the son of Bettie Ritchie Clark and the late Rudd ("R.T.") Bowlin. He retired from Edwards Pipe Line Company after 20 year employment. Survivors in addition to his mother include a daughter, Rebecca Whitman and husband Terry of China Grove; three sisters, Judy Ferguson of Kannapolis, Rita Bowlin of Pilot Mountain and Jamie Keziah of Monroe; two grandchildren, Destiny and Lita Whitman; and a beloved partner, Judy Surratt of Oakboro.
