John Quincy Darnell

Mr. John Quincy Darnell, 66, of 1100 Skyland Drive, Kannapolis, died unexpectedly Monday, March 6, 2006, at his residence. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, March 10, 2006, at Carolina Memorial Park. The Rev. Leon Hawks will officiate. Born February 21, 1940, in Cabarrus County, he was the son of the late William Cecil Darnell and Rose Powers Darnell. He formerly was employed as a furniture maker in the mobile home industry and the former Cannon Mills. He is survived by a sister, Linda Sue Darnell of Davie, Florida.
