John Lee Justice

Mr. John Lee Justice, 81, of 1615 Summit Ridge Lane, Kannapolis, and formerly of Huntington, WV, died Friday, January 26, 2007, at his home. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, January 27, 2007, at Lane Street Church of God. The body will then be taken from Lady's Funeral Home to Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home in Chesapeake, OH, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, January 29, 2007. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 30, 2007, at Tenth Avenue Church of God in Huntington, WV. The Rev. Keith Whitt and the Rev. Wade Easom will officiate. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Born November 28, 1925, in Logan, WV. he was the son of the late Everett A. Justice and Molly Victoria Frye Justice. A US Navy veteran of World War II, he retired as a pipe-fitter with Local 521 Plumbers and Pipe-fitters Union in Huntington, WV, of which he was a member. He was also a member of Lane Street Church of God in Kannapolis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Nell Peck and Margaret Dyer; and three brothers, James Haskell Justice, Edward Justice and Paul Justice. Survivors include his wife, Marion Frances Adams Justice; a daughter, Dana Russell and husband, Greg, of Concord; a son, John Justice and wife, Judy, of Marietta, GA; one brother, Doyle Justice of Huntington, WV; four grandchildren, Shauna Justice, Stacy Henrickson, Kelly Burton and Adam Russell; and two great-grandchildren, Haley Justice and Kate Burton. Memorials may be sent to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Boy Scout Camp Road, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
