John George Vlachos, Jr.

Mr. John George Vlachos, Jr., 64, of Fargo Drive, died Monday, February 28, 2011, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston Salem. His funeral service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Friday, March 4, 2011, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel, Kannapolis. Melvin Curlee will officiate. Interment will follow at West Concord Cemetery in Concord. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 pm Friday at Lady's Funeral Home prior to the service. Mr. Vlachos was born December 22, 1946 in Philadelphia, PA. He was the son of the late John George Vlachos and Charlotte Schiber Vlachos. Mr. Vlachos is survived by a daughter, Christy Vlachos Jones and grandsons, Jake, Jesse and Jude Jones.
