Josephine Helms Marks

Josephine Helms Marks, 89, a resident of Britthaven of Kannapolis, and formerly of Faircrest Drive, Charlotte, died Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at the care facility. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 24, 2007, at Sharon Memorial Park in Charlotte. The Rev. Fred Moretz will officiate. Born August 31, 1917, in Union County, she was the daughter of the late Jesse G. Helms and Mamie Kiser Helms. She was a homemaker. Survivors include a sister, Vera Helms Elmore of Greer, SC; and a nephew, Jesse Helms of Cornelius.
