Joyce Louise Linebarrier Callicutt

Ms. Joyce Louise Linebarrier Callicutt, 71, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2011, at CMC-NorthEast in Concord. A funeral service is scheduled for 7:30 pm Thursday, December 29, 2011, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Leon Hawks will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:15 pm Thursday at Lady's Funeral Home. Ms. Callicutt was born October 25, 1940 in Cabarrus County. She was a daughter of the late Robert Edgar Linebarrier and Mary Bundy Linebarrier. After graduating from the Nursing School at Cabarrus Memorial Hospital, she worked there for a number of years as a Registered Nurse before becoming the Head Nurse at Charlotte Memorial Hospital. She retired due to disability from the VA Hospital in Salisbury. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Edith Phillips and Margaret Isenhour. Ms. Callicutt is survived by two sons, Gary Callicutt and wife, Diane of Locust and Donnie Callicutt and wife, Jan of Kannapolis; six grandchildren, Cameron, Brandon, Raymond, Jennifer, Bradley and Jeffrey; and eight great grandchildren.
