Mrs. Joyce Reagan Miller, 63, of 2605 West C Street, Kannapolis, died Friday, September 22, 2006, at her home. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, September 24, 2006, at Blackwelder Park Baptist Church. The Rev. Stan Welch and the Rev. Roger Head will officiate. Entombment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, September 23, 2006, at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the residence. Born August 28, 1943, in Sevierville, TN, she was the daughter of Stella Whaley Reagan of Pigeon Forge, TN and the late William Howard Reagan. She had lived in this area since 1965 and was a member of Blackwelder Park Baptist Church. She formerly owned and operated Footprints Shoe Store in Kannapolis and worked part-time for Baucom's Shoes in Concord. She was a former employee of Cannon Mills. Survivors in addition to her mother, include her husband, Albert Lee Miller of the home; a daughter, Jana Miller Ritchie and husband, Joe, of Concord; two sons, Barry Miller of Mooresville, Todd Miller and wife, Regina, of Cleveland; sister, Linda Sue "Suzie" Reagan and husband, Ron, of Seymour, TN; brother, Bob Reagan of Pigeon Forge, TN; and five grandchildren, Alex Ritchie, Jackson Ritchie, Devin Miller, Miranda Miller and Hunter Miller. Memorials may be sent to Blackwelder Park Baptist Church, 2204 Summit Avenue, Kannapolis, NC 28081 or Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Boy Scout Camp Road, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
