Joyce Gulledge Nicholson

Mrs. Joyce Gulledge Nicholson, 69, of 380 Fry Street, China Grove, died Saturday, May 6, 2006, at NorthEast Medical Center. Born April 19, 1937, in Chesterfield, SC, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Walter Gulledge and Emma Mary Hancock Gulledge. She had lived in this area since 1945 and retired from the washcloth department of Cannon Mills, Plant One. Survivors include her husband, Preston Eugene Nicholson of the home; a daughter, Sebrina Britt of Wilson; two sons, Dale Kim Little of Concord and Scottie Nicholson of Kannapolis; a brother, Dale Gulledge of China Grove; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. No services are scheduled. Lady's Funeral Home is assisting the family.
