Ms. Goodson was born November 27, 1947 in Concord. She was a daughter of the late Henry Martin Pitts and Miriam Freeze Pitts.
Ms. Goodson is survived by daughter, Susan Cox and husband Terry; and granddaughter, Natalie Cox.
