Mrs. Judy Louise Knight Therrell, 77, passed away Monday, February 16, 2026, at Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville.

A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 am Monday, February 23, 2026, at Carolina Memorial Park. Pastor Mike Roper will officiate.

Judy was born November 15, 1948 in Concord. She was a daughter of the late Barney Wilson Knight and Stella Deal Knight. Judy faithfully served as the office manager of her husband’s business, Tony’s Garage, where she worked alongside him with dedication and pride. She found great happiness in life’s simple pleasures — shopping trips, peaceful days at the beach, and quiet escapes to the mountains. She especially loved riding their Harley-Davidson motorcycle, cherishing the freedom of the open road beside her beloved husband. Christmas was Judy’s favorite time of the year, and her home reflected that joy, with Christmas trees beautifully displayed, creating a warm and festive haven for family and friends. Above all, Judy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, whose greatest joy came from caring for and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her special granddaughter, Amy Louise Therrell "Cooterbug".

Judy is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Tony Therrell; son, G. Tony Therrell, Jr. (Kathy) of Kannapolis; three sisters, Peggy Clark of China Grove, Kim Wilkinson (Nelson) of Statesville and Wendy Brooks of Rockwell; four brothers, Barney Knight (Cathy) of Baltimore, MD, Richard Knight, Danny Joe Knight of Wilmington, NC and Bobby Kirkman (Amy) of Rockwell; two great grandchildren, Serenity Therrell and Little J.J.; many nieces and nephews including special niece, Geynell Fortner and special nephew, Randy Tyner (Deloris); close friend and neighbor, Brenda Carpenter; and also her special fur baby, Tiffany Nicole Therrell.
